How to choose SPC flooring?
Generally, we recommend customers choose 5.0mm or 5.5mm for commercial use, 6.0mm or above for household use, and 7.0mm or 8.0mm for high-quality ones. The SPC flooring for commercial use should choose thicker wear layer because of high frequency use.
Does thickness matter in SPC flooring?
SPC Hybrid flooring comes in thicknesses ranging from 2mm to 8mm+. The biggest factor to keep in mind is that the thickness does not determine durability – the wear layer does. With that said, the thickness is an important factor to consider.
SPC flooring can be very long lasting, even up to 20 years as long as it is well-maintained. And if you've ever wondered what you can do to extend your SPC flooring lifespan, here's everything you need to know.
Which SPC floor is best?
Luxury SPC tile (LVT) is a high end resilient flooring that can be use for both residential and commercial purposes. Luxury SPC tile is usually thicker, which is up to 5mm thick and wear layer can be up to 0.5mm. This is also the reason LVT has better durability compared to regular SPC tile flooring.
SPC flooring is an excellent choice for the kitchen. All of our SPC flooring products are 100-percent waterproof, stain-resistant, and can work well in all types of spaces.
Heavy furniture, pet paws, sands, or any sharp objects will leave scratches and abrasion on the SPC flooring surface. Extra care is needed when it comes to contact with sharp and abrasive objects. Always remember to cover SPC flooring with a layer of felt, mat, or rugs to keep your flooring surface smooth.
